Origin: Temperate and Polar regions of North America and Eurasia. Lemmings have a rounded form and long, silky brown and black fur. They feature a stubby, hairy nose, short legs, and tiny ears, as well as a very short tail. Their front feet include a flattened claw on the first digit that helps them dig in the snow.
