This is one of Jainism's most holy sites. It has two hills, namely Vindyagiri and Chandragiri, Sharavana Belgola, or Sravanabelgola, as it may be called. In the Vindyagiri Mountains stands the statue. It's a statue of 57 feet. It is said to be one of the famous temple in the country. |
