There are 32 domino-like tiles used in the Chinese gambling game of Pai Gow. To "make nine" is what the term "Pai Gow" refers to. Everyone in the game, including the dealer, is dealt seven cards. The players then form their strongest two-card and five-card hands. The player wins if his or her two hands are higher in value than the dealer's two hands. |
