Out of the three trimorphs, sillimanite is the most uncommon one. In its fibrous and enormous form, the sillimanite gemstone is most often referred to as a catseye gem. Nonetheless, beautiful and clean faceted sillimanite gems are also available; however, faceted sillimanite gems are uncommon due to the fact that clean sillimanite is difficult to cut and scarce. |
