Jambavati is the second of the Ashtabharya, the Hindu deity Krishna's eight main queen-consorts, and the king of Dwarka in the Dvapara Yuga. Jambavan, the bear king, had only one daughter. When Krishna beat Jambavan to reclaim the stolen Syamantaka jewel, he married her. |
