Jasmine is the National Flower of Pakistan and Syria. The Jasmines cultivated extensively for the characteristic fragrance of their flowers. Certain species of Jasmine rise tall, while others spread or climb. In certain parts of the world, particularly in South East Asia, women put on flowers in their hair.
