Krishna and Jambavati had a son named Samba. Lord Shiva bestowed a gift to Lord Krishna, and he was born as a result. He was also one of Lord Shiva's 11 rudra avtar incarnations, and as such, he became the cause for the Yadav clan's destruction. The Mahabharata and the Devi Bhagavata Purana both narrate Samba's birth in great detail. |
