Elk have a thick coat of brown fur with a reddish tint. The hue of this animal's rump patch, which is a circular region around its tail, is buff or cream. Elk are a gregarious species that are seldom seen without other elk around. They have a smooth rounded surface on their top canine, or eye, teeth, which makes them attractive as jewellery. |
