Lilac rabbts are medium-sized, weigh 5 1/2 to 7 1/2 pounds with mature bucks and weigh 6 to 8 lbs. They are rather gentle in temperament and they are quite wonderful moms. However, with only 4 or 6 pups, litter size can be rather modest. The breed is sluggish to mature, yet hardy and easy to lift in all cages. |
