In feudal Japan, Hamato Yoshi is a master of the ninja skills. Splinter and the TMNT brothers have learned and practised his martial arts method. He is either Splinter himself or Splinter's owner in several of his iterations throughout the franchise. Yoshi, while being a minor character, has a significant influence on the storyline development and history of the ninja turtle franchise, particularly within Shredder's backstory. |
