Karai is either Shredder's adoptive daughter or biological granddaughter, depending on the series. She is usually the Foot Clan's second-in-command and studies martial arts and ninjutsu straight from Shredder himself. Karai is Leonardo's love interest in certain versions, and while she is usually an opponent of the ninja turtles, she occasionally joins them as an ally. |
