Sangre de Cristo is among the world's longest mountain ranges. It reaches all the way from Poncha Pass in central Colorado to Glorieta Pass in New Mexico, which is located southeast of Santa Fe. There are almost two dozen peaks in the Sangres that are above 13,000 feet in elevation, and 10 that are over 14,000. |
