Both the white bryony and the black bryony are strong climbers with a maximum height of 3 meters with bilaterally symmetrical blooms in the shape of stars. Smaller shrubs may be smothered and broken by the weight of the stems. Both species of bryony rely on bees to spread pollen from their beautiful blossoms. |
