The maximum dimensions of a star magnolia are 15–20 feet in height and 10–15 feet in width. The crown is quite erect and conical while the tree is young, but it gradually widens as it matures. The leaves are 2 1/2 to 4 inches in length and either obovate or elliptic in shape, having whole edges. |
