When fully grown, a velociraptor would have reached a maximum size of roughly 6 feet (2 metres) in length and 100 pounds (45 kilograms). Its streamlined shape was both lightweight and built for speed, making it a deadly predator. It had a tall, thin head, a somewhat flattened nose, and a relatively big brain. |
