One of the most visually striking species of flycatcher, the vermilion flycatcher is a must-see if you get the chance. Fabulous little flycatcher that prefers open areas. The upper portions of an adult male are brown, while their underparts and crown are a vivid red. Females and juvenile males are drab greyish brown overall, with a pink or yellowish belly. |
