Origin: French. Kinkajous are tree-dwelling creatures. Their long, prehensile tail and agile, clawed digits are tree-dwelling adaptations. Kinkajous can eat by hanging upside down and supporting themselves with their prehensile tail and hind legs while grasping tiny fruits in one hand.
