Wat Benchamabophit is certainly one of Bangkok's finest temples and also known as the "Marble Temple," which is a big draw for tourists. The temple is an excellent example of the Bangkok architectural style with its multi-stage roofs, beautiful bird-like embellishments (chops), and magnificent gold carvings on top of the temple roofs. On either side of the entry there is a huge stone lion that protects the temple. |
