A Buddhist temple in Thailand, Wat Phra Dhammakaya. It is eight times the scale of the old Angkor wat in Cambodia and it is maybe the largest religious complex in the world. However, few non-Buddhists have heard about Wat Dhammakaya, a spread, magnificent monastery in the north of Bangkok in the centre of a power struggle between the monks and the ruling military of Thailand. Also this is one of the world's largest temples in the world. |
