The Sanctuary of Wat Lak Muang or the City of Bangkok, Rattanakosin, Bangkok, Thailand. The square structure with entrances on all four sides comprises of Lake Muang or Shrine for the city pillar. Two gold pillars and six elephant tusks are located in the centre of the chamber. The roof is decorated on three levels on each side with a shining white spiral on several levels. |
