Imeni Ismail Samani Peak, previously the Communism Peak or the Stalin Peak, the Peak, the Pamirs of West, Tayikistan of North-East. It is the highest peak in Tajikistan and in the range located in Akademii Nauk Range, at 24,590 feet above sea level. The Russian team ascended in 1933 for the first time. |
