The Karnak Temple Complex must be the most magnificent and amazing accomplishment of Luxor's numerous temples. The Great Temple of Amun, the Church of Khons, the Festival Temple of Tuthmosis III and other temples and sanctuaries surround it. The facility is not constructed in accordance with a single plan. It depicts instead the building of many consecutive leaders, who have walked together to add and decorate this magnificent national sanctuary, which throughout the New Kingdom has become Egypt's most significant temples. |
