Information : The temple of Kom Ombo, one of the temples of the Nile Valley with most magnificent surroundings, is on a point in the Nile, where in ancient times holy crocodiles were sunk by the sun on the riverside. The local crocodile god Sobek, and Haroeris, meaning Horus the Elder. It is unique in Egypt and dedicated to two gods.
