The Bhavnath Mahadev Temple, located in the Girnar Hills' foothills, is one of Junagadh's most important religious sites. Lord Shiva is honoured in the Bhavnath Temple in Junagadh. The Shivling at this location is supposed to have appeared as a result of its own divine desire. The temple is visited by religious devotees throughout the year, but the shrine has the most footfalls on two holy occasions: Maha Shivaratri and the 'Girnar Lili Parikrama.' |
