Trimbakeshwar is a temple of Jyotirlinga located near the source of the Godavari River at a distance of around 28 kilometres from the town of Nashik. Peshwa Balaji Baji Rao was said to have built Trimbakeshwar Temple. This temple built in the classical style of Hemadpanthi is fully built of black stone and is among India's most renowned Shiva temples.
