Information : Brihadeshwara Temple, constructed by Raja Raj Chola in Thanjavur (Tanjore), is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Brihadeeswarar Temple adorns the vimanam (temple tower), which is regarded to be one of the highest temple towers in the world, and is the best example of Dravidian style temple architecture. The temple of Brihadeeswarar houses a massive Nandi figure carved from a single rock.
