Name : Lakshmana Temple, Rajasthan  
Information : While king Yasovarman of the Chandella kingdom ruled in 930-950 AD, the Lakshmana temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu was constructed. From Tibet, a holy picture of Vaikuntha-Vishnu is housed in the temple's main hall. In addition to being the oldest, this temple is also one of the most elaborately adorned in the Khajuraho grounds. Temple platform is flanked by four freestanding shrines at the corners of the main shrine, which faces east.
