The temple of Kedarnath, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is one of the most holy temples in the Himalayas, in Garhwal region of Uttarakhand. The temple is thought to be one of the earliest temples in the country, constructed by Pandavas. The Kedarnath Temple was still undamaged after the whole region was devastated by flood and remains one of India's major pilgrimage centres. |
